Uniós politikák hatása a helyi fejlesztésekre / The Impact of EU Policies on Local Development

On October 1, the latest program day of the European Union's Prodepart project took place, organized by Ezer Gyerek Egyesület, and hosted by the Kazinczy school. The host institution and Csemadok had already joined the program series earlier, and this time, alongside the students from Kazinczy, we welcomed students and their accompanying teachers from the Széchényi Ferenc High School and Dormitory of Barcs, as well as the Kalazanci Szent József Roman Catholic Lyceum of Nagykároly.

Our morning programs focused on the digital world and modern technologies. In addition to the teams from the guest schools, ninth-graders and teachers from Kazinczy also actively participated in the sessions. Divided into three groups, the students were able to try their hand at the various stations we provided in a round-robin rotation. In the DroneLab, they familiarized themselves with drone technology and control; in the RoboLab, robotics, programming, and sensors took center stage; while the CyberLab highlighted the importance of safe internet use and the dangers of phishing and online scams. The practical tasks were complemented by our presentation titled "Digital Society – Opportunities and Dangers," which, alongside the potential of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, addressed current issues such as deepfake content, data protection, disinformation, and digital addiction.

The eventful morning, full of professional programs, was followed by a joint excursion with the participants. We took the students and their chaperones to the Gombaszög Cave, visited the lookout tower, the church, and the heritage house in Ardó, and concluded the day in the main square of Rozsnyó.

The program is an event of the PRODEPART project implemented by the European Commission with the support of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
